World Of Warcraft Kids

What is so addicting about World of Warcraft?

My husband is on the game every chance he gets. Basically, if he isn’t at work or sleeping, he is on the computer playing WOW. What is it about this game that people will jeopardize their relationships and not want to spend time with their kids? I don’t get it. It would be so bad if he was just on it maybe a couple hours a day, but it is constant. I feel like I don’t have my husband anymore.

You are not alone. The game is enthralling. People who have never played the game for more than a total of 20+ hours really can’t understand what it is about the game. It really just grabs you and makes you never want to stop playing. I personally do play the game, but as I’m dual enrolled in high school / college courses I have to use as much self control as possible. I honestly don’t get to play the game every day, although I wish I could.

My suggestion.
Set some rules. Don’t let him play as much as he already is.
AND
Try it.
You can get a free trial for 7-14 days, i don’t remember which exactly.
Or just create a new character on your husband’s account, i’m sure he’d love to introduce you to the game.

I know you don’t want to get addicted like him, but once you start playing, you’ll understand, and cut him a little bit more slack perhaps.
But remember, it IS just a game. :)
