world of warcraft: What is a druid TANK?
I keep finding forums about tanks but they dont actually tell me what they are?? Is it a certain level or armour or healing etc??

A druid tank has higher HP and armor than most other tanks out there. Their DPS is going to be slightly better than a protection warrior, allowing them to generate a little more aggro. With the increased rage generation, coupled with Primal Fury, Druids are able to maintain enough rage to constantly spam most of their abilities.
A couple of things to keep in mind:
Unless Druids take Primal Instincts (i believe that is the name if i remember right), the only ability that has inate hate is Mangle. Blizzard removed all aggro before TBC was released.
Druids cannot heal themselves while in bearform. Frenzied regen is a craptacular heal over time that uses rage. In order to get the full affect, the druid must stop using abilities and rely on normal melee swings. This drops DPS and reduces aggro. Also, keep in mind, it is effectively a 2khp heal over time. Since most bears probably have 14k+ hp, you are looking at nothing really good. Other tanks can use potions. It balances out.
Leader of the Pack is a combat proc that heals when you crit. Before, this used to be able to crit as well, allowing high HP druids to consistantly heal themselves. This ability can no longer crit. Also, this affects the entire group.
