can you rollback to a previous patch downloaded for World of Warcraft?
New patch isn’t working, how do I back date the patch?
Ok, first you have to go into your WoW Main Folder,
C:/Program Files/World of Warcraft
and then go into the data folder. Delete the Patch.MPQ file. Then go back into your main folder. Find the Application in there called Repair, run it. It will say your WoW is really broken and needs to be downgraded. Let it repair, and you are set back to patch 2.0. Then go to this site:
http://www.wowwiki.com/Patch_mirrors
And find a 2.x upgrader to the patch you want to update to. I don’t think you can run retail WoW on an out of date patch though.
