World Of Warcraft Official Site

World of Warcraft: Where did Frostmourne and Ner’Zhul’s armor come form?

So I’ve been reading the World of Warcraft history on the official
site, and when I reached the part where Arthas became a Death Knight
and such, I started to wonder where Frostmoune and Ner’zhul’s
enchanted Helm and Breastplate came from.

Quoting from the story:
“Using his runeblade, Frostmourne, Arthas shattered the Lich King’s
icy prison and thereby released Ner’zhul’s enchanted helm and
breastplate. Arthas placed the unimaginably powerful helm on his head
and became the new Lich King.”

His spirit was incased in ice and send to Northrend, but why is it
that there’s apparently a bunch of gear crammed into his little
icecube with him? There’s no mention of the source of these
artifiacts, and I don’t see why they’d be there when Ner’zhul was
just a spirit and had no body (therefore no need for armor).

Anyone know?

I hope these other answerers are having fun feeling like they’re better than you. Good for them.

Anyway, if I remember correctly, it’s actually a mystery who originally created Frostmourne. You should go to www.wowwiki.com. I’ve spent a lot of time (well spent time) reading stuff at random on that site. Warcraft lore is awesome, but for all the trashtalkers, hey if the fantasy genre isn’t your thing, then can’t you find anything better to do than trying to make fun of people who are into it?
