World of warcraft download game download gone wrong?

Hi.
Basically, I wanted to upgrade wow from a trial account to a full one!
so i purcjhased the game online, but dont have the download allowance to download the 5.21gb that is the game. So i got my bfs game on a usb stick and installed it as the netbook hasent got a cd drive! it installed fine, but when i logged in to play, it installed the patch and then closed wow and opened a launcher that said install wow, which is the online 1 i purchased.
i deleted it a million times and still everytime i try to log into my installed version and keeps taking me back asking to install wow. can someone please tell me how to get rid of the download version so that i can play on the installed one i already have!!!
Thank you very much in advance!

First off, don’t run WoW on a netbook. Netbooks are not designed to play games; they sacrifice graphics and processing power for longer battery life and portability.

Regardless of how you install, you are still going to face several gb worth of downloads. You have to either downlaod the full game client from Blizzard on the WoW website, or install off the CDs and patch from the CD version (which is 3.0.2 if he has all the expansion CDs) and at least a few gb to get to current (3.2.2).

You MIGHT be able to get away with copying the entire WoW directory as it’s installed on his PC, into where your trial version is installed; however, you’ll also have to find the patches (if they still exist) and copy them into the same directory on the new PC (e.g., \Users\Public\Downloads\Blizzard on old PC to \Users\Public\Downloads\Blizzard on new PC). If they do not exist, you will be forced into downlaoding the patches anyway.
