FPS problems playing wow (world of warcraft)?
Ok, On my level 80 warrior, I am getting over 100 FPS even during 25 man raids with all settings on ultra. However, while I am on my level 36 priest, I can never get anything over 25-30 FPS. What in the world is going on?
Computer system specs:
AMD Phenom II 940 (Quad-Core)
ATI Radeon HD 4870 1GB
4GB OCZ Platinum 1066 rated
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks!
I am pretty sure my class does not have anything to do with how many frames per second i am getting.
I am usually the only person on the network and my priest only uses recount and Vuhdo for addons, whereas my warriors uses 6-7 addons.
it is not a problem with your graphics or processor but a little problem with hard drive and RAM
if your other windows process take too much of ram to spare for the game it use hdd as ram untill ram is freed up so try and free up more space or increase your ram or terminate unwanted process trees from task manager.
if you are unsure what the process does then leave it alone.
also try and increase priority of the game
[go to taskmanager find WoW.exe (or sumthing like that) and right click and set priority to high]
tHis should increase your framerate!
