World of Warcraft XP Bar???
whats the weird pin thing thats sometimes on the xp bar???
When you log out for a long enough period you become “rested”. You might also notice this happen when you spend a few minutes in a friendly city.
The whole rested status is some compensation for people who can’t play so often, as you then get double XP for kills, so you can play catch up, to a degree at least.
The pin marks the point where you will return to “normal” status. It moves as you stay rested, and also if you complete quests the pin will move with the XP you gain, as it is only depleted by killing enemies.
If you are rested (the bar is blue) and the pin isn’t there, it means you will gain double XP into the next level, or possibly beyond it you don’t play too often.
