World Of Warcraft Expansion Package

Is the Alienware M17x worth the money?

I am considering a purchase of the Alienware M17x (basic package, no customizing except for the color) and upgrading from my horrible Vaio Vista laptop (can’t upgrade the video card? Fuck you Microsoft! :) ) so I was wondering, is it really worth the money? I will be running a few Steam games, World of Warcraft+expansions, and Aion and maybe Sims 2.

Also, does it include a built in wi-fi adapter?

Nope, not worth the money.

Check out Gateway’s P series FX laptops- the P7915u has equivalent performance (actually a slightly better CPU than the uncustomized M17x, with the same GTX 260M graphics adapter) for $1100.

Of course for the games you’re playing, that’s overkill. Even this $900 Acer could play those titles on max settings.

With Alienware, you always pay a premium for the name.
