for world of warcraft realmlist.wtf help…?

i cant change my realm list wtf ive toyed with it in the past and i cant change it into retail ? what can i do to fix this ive tried to put in the logon wow thing and tried to save but it doesnt work??

my realmlist reads:
set realmlist us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
set patchlist us.version.worldofwarcraft.com

what exactly happens when u open WOW up after switching it?
does it just revert to the last realmlist?
