World Of Warcraft Quest Addons
World of Warcraft doesn’t recognize Addons?
So I downloaded a couple of handy add-ons from curse.com, i unzipped them, but them in the interface folder in the add-ons folder. It recognizes quest helper and cartographer, but not any of the others.
I’ve restarted the game and my computer. My computer is a Powerbook G4, but forums have said the operating system of the computer doesn’t make a difference, all add-ons are universal.
How can I get all the other add-ons to recognize?
First thing. After logging in, you get the character selection screen. In the lower left corner will be a button that says “Add ons.” Click that and in the upper right, make sure “Load Out of Date Addons” is selected. Even newly updated addons are sometimes labeled as “out of date” by WoW.
If that doesn’t work, try D/Ling the addons again.
Other than that, not much help. Blizz will not provide you any advice other than “disable all Add-ons.”
