World of Warcraft – HELP How do you get pets?
We joined the game World of Warcraft & my son has been wondering how do you go about getting a pet?
At first we thought only Hunters could get them yet we will see other people playing with other animals & things that help them fight.
I just created a Gnome Warlock last night & I’m able to call up an IMP to help me fight but still it isn’t a pet. lol
I got a guide for the game on here & all it says about pets it says “non combative pets are available for everyone.
My son is begging to figure out -
1. How anyone can get a pet?
2. How hunters can get pets?
3. How you get a pet that helps you fight?
Can someone who plays the game or has a family member who plays explain this to us in a “Guide for Dummies” kind of way. lol

Is there a website that points out the shop locations to buy them?
What is the capital city?
That the big one where people can trade stuff, have auctions & stuff like that?
Hunters and warlocks both have combative pets, but there are also a wide array of Non-combat pets.
Non-combat pets can be Purchased at shops, earned though quests or by completeing achivements.
Hunters learn an ability to Tame Beats at lvl 10, warlocks learn summoning spells at various lvls though quests
Each Race has its own pet shop located in the first town or the Captial City.
