One of the greatest risks to any rogue is the inability to vanish after a DoT poison has been applied. However, Dwarves have the Stoneform ability, which not only prevents poisons from being applied for a few seconds, but also removes preexisting poisons! So Stoneform followed by Vanish means a quick escape from most poisonous situations.

Also, no one ever expects the fat guy to be sneaky.
