How do I speed up the world of warcraft patch download? It wants me to wait 335 hours for 800 Mb!?
I have already set all the required port exceptions but it still ewants to take a week to download 800Mb. That is unacceptable. Does anyone know how to speed this up?
Not sure what exactly you’re doing but you should know that the absolute fastest way to reload the game is to load the original, (don’t patch yet) load Burning Crusade (don’t patch yet!) then load Wrath of the Lich King. Now when you patch, you should only have 3.1 to 3.3 patches. I’ve had to reload the game twice because of unexpected crashes and this whole process only takes me an hour and a half or so. I guess the inbetween patches are on the follow-up disks.
