Will the World of Warcraft background downloader stop if I shut down my computer?

I just got WoW so it has to download a bunch of patches, but I don’t want to leave my computer on all the time. Any input?

If you are downloading a patch (let’s say it has downloaded 30%) and you shut down your computer, then it will start downloading from where it stopped, when you start the download again. (It will just continue as if nothing had ever happened)

It might take a couple of minutes for it to read the incomplete data, but after that it should be fine.
