What happens when someone hacks into your World of Warcraft account?(FOR THOSE THAT ACTUALLY PLAY WOW)?
Sorry but I could explain this a little better for people that don’t play world of warcraft… but i’m sure they won’t know the answer anyways.
So yes it might sound like i’m speaking a different language, I apologize.
My bf’s characters were deleted on WOW last night. He was working on getting full s3 gear. He had over 470 resil on his 70 lock. 2 alts, and a bank character with over 4,000g in it. Not to mention all the mats and stuff that he saved up for my characters enchant… soulfrost>.<
We have contacted blizzard and they say they will help us.
However I heard that when stuff like this happens. You don't get your gear or your money back. You just get a bunch of poor naked characters. Is this true?
Btw... we've been playing together for a year and a half now... please don't say we're wasting our lives. I'm a full time college student and he goes part time with a full time job making well over minimum wage.
They do an investigation into the account and try to verify the items that were deleted/sharded/sold. This takes some time. Also, if it hasnt happened already, dont be surprised if you get a ban notice. This is done to protect the account. The whole process take time and you and your bf should remain patient. It can take around a month to work its self to completion.
