World Of Warcraft Buy Mount
Can you use a mount from another race in World of Warcraft without being exalted in reputation?
My friend can buy a mount from another race and trade it to me.
Will the mount work if i get it like that?
Short answer: No you can’t and no that won’t work either.
Compromise #1: As stated before you can get other mounts that are the same as other race’s mounts through battlegrounds, and depending on your level you can get them through the argent tournament area as well with champion’s seals. Though these are not really the same mounts as the other race’s default mounts sold in their cities they have the same look.
Compromise #2: Depending on what type of mount you want there are some raids and dungeons that drop mounts (though they are rare drops), and some special world events will give you some too! Zul’Gurub aka ZG (I think that’s how it’s spelled) Drops a tiger mount and a raptor mount. Stratholme’s last boss drops an undead horse mount. Brewfest, a world event coming up in October, allows you to get a Kodo from the special boss in Blackrock Depths, and a Ram from the Brewfest tickets.
I believe these are the only ways to get any other than raising your reputation to exalted with the other factions.
