World Of Warcraft X64
What’s up with my computer? ?
I have a custom built computer with the following specs. Intel Core 2 Quad @ 2.83GHz, 8GB RAM, 500GB HD, 850W PSU, Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio, with Windows XP x64. Ok, here’s the problem. I 1st had an Nvidia 9500 GT GPU (it wasn’t fast enough). Now I have an Nvidia 9800 GT GPU (figured it would be plenty for World of Warcraft).
But yet the FPS averages out at 40 and the screen can get really jerky at times (I hate that the most). Is there anyway I can get rid of the jerks by messing with the graphic card settings? I’m beggining to
think that I’ll have to get an Nvidia GTX 280 to be happy. All for WoW, which isn’t nearly as graphically challenged as say, Crysis. I don’t know what to do. I’m really starting to get discouraged in the pc I bought. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks..
I have a brand new HP w2207h monitor.
I would get a 9800 GTX+, I own one, and I can run GTA IV with a EVGA 9800 GTX+ Superclocked+ and a E8400 @ 3.0 GHz with the following benchmark:
